So I've had this book for about two months and for some reason it kept getting under the radar on me. So I finally put all the other books I'm currently reading and gave it a go. Why i didn't read it earlier is beyond me but it was good. I loved how the author took a geeky girl and put her out of her element in no men's land :) . I fell in love with Dylan but I was really going for that sexy serious brother of his Carson. I loved the story of Jess and Carson I was a little put off at the beginning but I loved how the story developed, it was entertaining and at times my 3 year old would look at me and ask my what was so funny in what I was reading. I could not put this book down and was a wonderful story and loved how the character grew with each chapter (Jess). But I really enjoyed Lauren and Imogene can't wait for the next book :) 5 FRUSTRATING, WONDERFUL STARSSo I was approved for Freedom (Fearsome #2) on Netgalley. As I read the first chapter I knew I had to stop and buy the first book on Amazon right away! I loved this book! Such a different, moving, passionate story about fear, love, and frustration!!! Oh did I want to throttle Jess for most of the book!!!! But that emotion kept me reading and I loved every minute of it!!Jess is an overachiever who graduated college at 19 years old, lives in NY where she is a big-wig at a large company, and is unfulfilled in love. One day she finds out she has inherited a house and everything that goes along with it from an aunt that she forgot the even had. I love the sarcasm, the banter, the angst between her and the 2 men she barely remembers from her one summer with her aunt who she is starting to vaguely remember. I don't want to get too much more into the story or the men but OMG, Carson!!!! Talk about your strong, hot, alpha type!! On to Freedom!!
What do You think about Fearsome (2013)?
This dragged on a bit for me, simmered rather than erupted as a romance novel
