I can't say whether I liked this book or not. Rock and Roll Never Forgets was amazing. I loved it - my chest hurt because of it. The author said she wondered about people saying they had a hard time with the second two because Beth was gone but that it shouldn't be that way because it was Andy's story. I appreciate her view but, as the reader, it was an angst filled, dramatic, heart wrenching rock star story. That's what made me love it. I just couldn't bring myself to switch my thinking and move on to a story that, not only didn't include Beth, but also didn't include the angst. I didn't buy that Matthew and Carlee never had a fight and their relationship was always perfect. I didn't buy that a child who lived through the death of a parent, the rejection and then death of her other parent would be an ALWAYS positive and happy person. After Rock and Roll Never Forgets, I don't know what I was expecting but, sad to say, these two books just weren't it. This entire series has touched my heart in more ways than I can count. This series made me laugh and cry and cried some more. This is end of Andy's journey. You will see him watch his daughter grow up become a woman and fall in love again. This is in my top best of all time series. I loved this series so much that I purchase the books from the author. Trust me you will not be sorry to read this series. The only thing is that I'm sad this will be last book with Andy
