Not a LOL time at all, too many stupid things so this is definitely a parody , besides it doesn't even follow the same development of 50SOG!!!I love reading sci-fi , but this is just way too over it. I thought I would have a good time, okay maybe a couple of things at the beginning, but since that point on... It was just an overdose of idiocy!! I'm just happy I've read it because now i know I shouldn't read any parody book in the future, that's for sure!!!!!!!!!!Definitely , definitely , not a LOL time just gross, disgusting at some point and a few laughs about stupid and mocking things just as a parody is supposed to be, I guess. I'm just not into parody At All!!!! Parodies are something that I always struggle to rate and recommend to others. I mean they aren't wholly original material and unless you've read what it's based usually you just end up reading something that you can't fully understand and are just left baffled. As I left Mr Earl Grey and Anna gazing at each other gazingly though, I realised that those problems didn't apply to this book. I mean what this is based off of isn't wholly original either (and terrible and hiding it) and it's so famous and discussed by everyone that if you've read the books or not you understand almost all the in jokes.I've only read the first original Fifty Shades (and even that was too much) but still got many a snort, snicker, giggle and laugh-till-I-cry moments that this has to be one of the best parodies I've ever read. And it doesn't even really have to try. It just exaggerates the ridiculous that was already there and that's where the humor comes from. The fact that you know that a serious romance book was written that was only slightly less ridiculous than this but still sold millions (or was it billions) of copies worldwide.Also, as someone who reads plenty of fanfic (although not as much Twilight stuff anymore. It's all getting published.), this was like a big fuck you to every Twilight fanfic ever that did everything that Fifty Shades did but just didn't get published. Because they all did this. He buys her love, not with money but things, and just does heaps of ridiculous things to win her affection instead of doing normal things. And they always have butt loads of sex (and usually also butt sex) and he always has a huge penis.I loved this book and want to give it to the people I know who actually enjoyed the original Fifty Shades and say "LOOK AT HOW RIDICULOUS THIS ALL IS! THIS AUTHOR HAS ADJUSTED SO LITTLE! HOW CAN YOU ENJOY THIS SERIES??" but I won't personally be going back to read it again.
