Last night had been amazing and I wanted to continue in the morning. But the divorce was a very important thing for our relationship to continue. I woke up and got ready for court. I kissed her cheek and slowly walked out of the room. I left a note for Eva and left the house. After thirty minutes of driving I was in front of the Family Court. I could see Samantha waiting outside of the courthouse. I parked my car and chose a route which wouldn't have me pass Samantha. Meeting her outside was the last thing I wanted to do that day. But sometimes the inevitable happens. She spotted me from a distance and rushed to meet me. "Good morning, Nathan darling." She hadn't changed. "Morning, Samantha." "So... a big day?" she said in sad voice. I looked in her eyes. Some sort of sadness was there. "I don't think you're regretting this." I said. "Is that sarcasm?" "You can take it like that," I replied.
