So I was looking for a short hot n sexy read...and that is what I got! I've been reading some books with lackluster sex lately, so I needed a smut fix. This book was definitely high on the sex steam level. Hot hot scenes in here but that was about it...The story was about Faith a videographer and Eric a rock singer/guitarist. Faith was hired to videotape his band and from their first meeting there was an instant physical attraction. Until Faith opened her mouth and for what Eric felt insulted him. It was really just constructive criticism but I guess they needed some reason to hate each other..And these two HATED each other! I usually love stories when the H and h start off hating each other and end up in love. But these two really hated each other. I thought it was a bit much for Eric to be straight up disrespecting Faith calling her a b*tch and whore. He should`ve got straight slapped every time. She did once but still allowed him to talk to her like that later. So they hate each other but when it came to the sex it was explosive and off the chain!Eventually by the end they realize they are in love, which came rather quick and rushed. I wasn't feeling that at all. They didn't have much dialogue in the story, besides when they were insulting each other. So when suddenly they are in love that didn't feel so believable. Actually it was kind of corny at the end...Overall, it gave me my fix for some hot steam. It was quick and enjoyable but not too much on the romance aspect..***3 stars The chemistry between Eric and faith is explosive. The writing is perfect capturing; the love/ hate relationship between Eric and Faith, sex scenes as in all of Brandie's are sexy, steamy, hot hot hot. You want to wring both Eric and Faith's necks for not seeing what we see that they would be perfect for each other. Each giving something special to the other in their relationship, Faith feeling loved and whole unlike with ex, and Eric putting more emotion in his writing and singing. You cheer when they both finally realize they love each other and can't live without each other. Very sexy, very well written.
