Liked the story well enough. Inventive, original. Thought the author really needed the advice of an experienced editor. Almost ditched it at the beginning, with the seemingly endless descriptions of shops and awnings in the town. Some clunky writing, pacing, and dialog. It got a little better, but think it needed just a little more tweaking and another draft. I would read this author again if she grows and improves as a writer. I loved this book. I loved it because I was intrigued with the initial story line: a woman moves to a small town in Maine to start her life over, but there is a mystery with the cottage she is renting and the beach that it's on. I liked that it was a pure, simple mystery. Don't let the word paranormal prevent you from reading this book. I found myself constantly wondering what's next and was completely satisfied with the ending.
