Flirting Under A Full Moon (2013) - Plot & Excerpts

DNFI was in the mood for a light read so I had high hopes for this book but sadly all I got was yet another book where the male lies to the heroine and in this one he didn`t just lie to her but he made a friend of theirs wipe her memory as well… I just don`t get these books and authors. Is it so much to ask for a truthful and honest relationship? No lies, no manipulations, no mind wipes! Do I ask for so much? Add B&E to the mix and that was it for me. Not because of the B&E but because instead of being worried about what kind of man she has gotten tangled up with, the heroine was more upset about his invasion of her privacy. Are you kidding me... and that was after their first "date" which she doesn`t remember almost anything about and she wonders whether or not was she drugged. This book just didn`t do it for me. It was beyond ridicules in my opinion so a DNF for me. Really didn't like this one but it wasn't offensive enough to warrant 1 star hence my 2 star rating. I struggled to finish it (and it must be admitted I skimmed the last couple of predictable chapters). I didn't hate it, I just couldn't bring myself to CARE about any of the the characters. Brandee wasn't bad but she came across as a little dumb and her 'love' for Nick after 2 days was ridiculous and inexplicable, Nick wasn't very likeable (having Brandee's memory wiped, marking her as his mate without asking her and before telling her about being a werewolf). The Paranormal COuncil wasn't explained and seemed very random with no consistent rules and GAIA was rude and obnoxious and not at all entertaining. None of the secondary characters interested me enough to pick about another book in this series.

What do You think about Flirting Under A Full Moon (2013)?

This book is uninteresting and unchallenging. Not recommended for anyone.
