it was okay, until that crop thingy was in the picture,, some kinks are okay,, spanking is okay but whipping?! NO.. i wasnt warned that this story contains BDSM :-/ ..i liked it at first but as i go along i.but oh well maybe my expectations are different, im on page 81 of book 2, im confused whether i shall finished or not. im starting to not like clara. =.=". and yeah i vowed that FSOG should be the last BDSM book that i shall read. i seriously am not a fan. had i known i wouldnt have gone and read this. OMFG!!!!! Forget about Gideon Cross or Christian Grey. His Royal Highness Prince Alexander of Cambridge is in the house.Geneva Lee is a new author to me so I had no idea what to expect from this book. Well, the only thing I have to say is that I am glad I picked her debut book. It was superb. Simply intriguing, captivating, exciting, pantie melting hot. And it was like she read my mind when she created Alexander. With his messy black hair and sapphire blue eyes, his tall perfect body and dominant and possessive behavior, he is exactly the type of BBF I will salivate after. I am just a s*cker for that particular combination :)In a way the plot reminds me of FSoG and the Crossfire Series, but in my opinion this one is much better. The characters felt more real to me and I loved that Clara wasn't portrayed as the perfect innocent girl that falls for the tortured playboy. She has her own problems and issues, that make her feel real. And yes, Alexander is tortured and a playboy but somehow they really fit together.I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book and I am definitely off to read the second one. I would recommend this story to everyone who enjoyed reading FSoG and all the similar books out there. I only think that you will enjoy this one better. And be prepared to be left breathless once you meet Alexander. He definitely knows how to satisfy all your desires ;)
What do You think about For King And Country (2000)?
I was hooked from the beginning. I know it might be cliche because lately I've been reading a lot of books where the guy is the alpha and the girl falls in love blah blah but this book is on a league of its own. Alexander is definitely an alpha male but Clara stands on her own as well. Their love story is meant to fail from the beginning but somehow they make it work. This is the kind of book that makes you want to be in love and it also helps that the supporting characters are also intriguing. Edward, oh my. Can we please get a book of HIS story? I found myself loving the little brother just as much as I loved the older one, and Clara's best friend as well as her sister Lola.. yup, I want to know their stories too. I can see this saga go far beyond Clara and Alexander and I absolutely love the author because of it. Hopefully the next book doesn't disappoint, I'm off to read that one now.

A really great book! It's different and the plot really kept me on the edge of my seat. I keep wanting to know Alexander's dark secret and so yeah this book really left me hanging. Time to start the second part. Geneva Lee is a brilliant and gifted author and this book of hers was so fluent and well-written. I'd definitely recommend it to any and everyone! All her characters are captivating, charming and funny so do yourself a favour and take the time out to read this book! :)
