This book kept me up reading late into the night. I just didn't want to put it down- I had to know. Yeah, I figured out pretty quick the whole story but that didn't make me any less interested in reading to the end. It pulled at my emotions. I like books that can evoke real emotion in me.This book contained sexual situations, between a married couple, nothing described in detail beyond kissing, but you definitely know it's happening. A couple instances of mild swearing. 255 pagesFor Nick is a contemporary romance. Suspension of belief is required or perhaps an eye roll will suffice, the premise is one too often found in historical romance and mills and boony type novels even so I liked it. Zach and Andie entered into a one year contractual marriage it’s purely business, no personal details exchanged or indeed wanted, at least on Zach’s side. Well we know where this is heading, it’s heading down a highway of assumptions and a car wreck of make or break misunderstandings. Andie and particularly Nick's story is heartbreaking and indeed likely to reduce the staunchest among us to tears. I’d like to have seen her introduced a whole lot sooner. Though the reader is constantly aware of Nick through Andie’s thoughts, keeping her out of the picture for so long and given she was such a large but physically absent part of it, detracted in some way. I didn’t really understand Zach’s sleuthing behaviour - twice. As Andie told him time and again he just had to ask. A few times I would have liked to slap some sense into him, his actions deserved a bit of grovelling. I loved that the last word was given to Zach's debilitating weakness. I laughed, right along with Andie. He was hilarious although he definitely wouldn't agree with me.Clean romance and a nice summer/winter read.
