I'm torn between giving this 2 or 3 stars. I read Julia Harper's other book Hot first -- it was MUCH better. Julia Harper usually writes historical romance novels under the name Elizabeth Hoyt. This is her second contemporary romance novel. This one was just over the top -- the crazy Indian ladies, the hitman who loses his son, the dirty FBI agent -- just too much. The main character is kinda flaky, but I liked the FBI agent and it was a fun relationship with them getting to know each other. There was just too much other crap that could have been toned down quite a bit.Read Hot instead. If you like your contemporary romances with a lot of action,drama galore and some grins, you should definitely try Julia Harper. Zooey has been annoyed with Dante for some time - although her name for him is Lips of Sin. The final straw is the fact he took her parking place. This may be the coup de grace for Zooey, but (of course) her relationship with Dante is just beginning.This is the second contemporary romance that I have read by Julia Harper. I am eagerly awaiting the next one. She has a good sense of humor, just the right amount of sex and true love triumphs as it should.
