For Their Happiness (Moonbeam Pack) (2012) - Plot & Excerpts
I'm barely in this world, and I want to stop. The writing is awful. Its not in the in the past tense, it in the past present tense. I keep saying this, it takes a very very skilled writer to write in the present tense, or in this case the past present tense. It is just not working. At all.My second problem with this book is that no body talk like this unless they are a foreigner, then it is adorable "I am, there is a, I will not..." So forth. Sure you can use them, once in a while.I'm gonna stick with this book though, I like the originality of it. Book boy is it gonna challenge me... To be fair, I may change my rating as time goes by. The Good: This is one of my favorite new werewolf books. I loved it. It was creative and sweet. I adored Crystie in this story. She was such a genuinely good person/wolf. There was just the right amount of action in it and I was never bored. In fact, it was a page turner. I was so sad when I read that Crystie walked away from her mate, I could feel the sorrow she felt. It didn't seem fair because she always saw the best in everyone, but got nothing in return.The Bad: The sequel isn't out yet and I want to read it!!!! She ended things neatly, but it just wasn't long enough and I need more!!!The Sexy: There was the perfect blend of romance in this book. It was an upper YA, new adult book due to sexual situations. I really enjoyed the way the romance in this book grew to a crescendo in the end.Overall: This was a fabulous book. I am so glad I took the time to read it. Any romance or werewolf fan would enjoy this book. I don't have much more to say about it other than it was awesome and deserves five glittery stars!
