Forsaken - Book 2 (Star Crossed MC Lovers) - Plot & Excerpts
There was a slight chance that I would make it there before Lucky, but that's all I needed. Riding like the wind, I took the backroads to the quaint little bar and parked my bike on the side of the establishment next to the rest of the bikes. Mine seemed to stand out, which I didn't want. Surprising Lucky was part of the fun. I pulled it around to the back part of the property and tied it to a tree. "Good luck getting that shit free," I grumbled and walked toward the bar, careful not to let my high heel hit a root and have me eating dirt. After talking to the handsome bouncer at the front, I slipped into the bathroom and transformed myself as best I could. The wig was a perfect fit, and I looked more like a city slicker than the rough biker chick I was becoming. It was almost comical. Lucky would obviously know it was me the minute he saw my face, but I was hoping to hide that from him as long as I could.
