The continuing tales of the rather TSTL Skylar Foxe... teacher by profession and amateur sleuth by, well, accident.I liked this book better than the first, and again, there's a cliffhanger ending, but this book sees Skylar begin a relationship with the mysterious Keith rather than him picking up tricks. The usual cast of supporting characters are all there, with the addition of Skylar's mother. Enjoyable fun. This book is the second of the Skyler Foxe mysteries! Our favorite English Lit teacher at James Polke High is back, not only teaching, but back playing armature detective despite warnings from friends. This time Skyler is suspicious of the death of a college friend who was kicked out of the Army along with his partner are kicked out because of Don't Ask Don't Tell. Skyler can't help but be curious, especially when his friend is arrested on suspicion of murder. Also, on the romantic front, Skyler is in lust with Keith Fletcher the hunky biology teacher/ assistant football coach. Can Keith be the one? Skyler isn't use to anything serious and has never had a boyfriend. This is such a fun read, and the mystery part had me guessing! I just love this series and am angry with myself for not reading it sooner!
