All in all I'm not too sure how I feel about this book. Emily and Julian were great characters, but there was a few characters who didnt really mesh well with me. Adrian- Her friend from college- Didnt really see why he was even in the story. A big deal was made of him at the beginning but he just hovered round in the background. Jay- The rapist ex....totally underwritten character. Had potential to be written into the story a lot more than he was. There was fear of Jay but not enough of Jay In a nutshell- Not bad but, massively rushed in places that needed more detail and expansion and dragged on pointless parts. 3*'s I picked up this gem while it was free on Kindle. After reading it beginning to end in the same day I would have definitely paid for it. (aside from a few grammar/formatting issues) It has 2 strong characters, Julianne and Emily and I was immediately drawn to them. They are both broken but have an immediate attraction to each other that takes some time to develop which is done beautifully. I am definitely looking forward to more from Danielle Fox and anticipating what else she has in store for us as well as Julianne and Emily.
I'm not going to rate this story. I'll just say that it didn't hold my interest and I gave up.
