Chad walked up and we bumped fists. “Looked like you had a good time last night. I saw you leaving with that brunette dime piece.” He gave me a nod of approval.I couldn’t contain the cocky smile that appeared on my face. “Sure as fuck did. Had three great times, in fact.” Chad reached out for another fist bump. “Props, dude, props.” He walked off toward the registration booth.I stepped up into the back of the rig and unhooked my bike, throwing the tie-downs off to the side. I gripped the handlebars and guided my motorcycle backwards down the ramp and out of the trailer. The stand was already waiting next to the line of bikes. I wheeled mine over and heaved it up onto the aluminum stand. Mike, our manager approached with his clipboard in hand. “Hey, Steele, time for the track walk.” He glanced down at the schedule on his board. “You guys are up in forty-five minutes.”“All right, boss, I’ll head over there right now.” There were already fans sitting in the grandstands as I entered the stadium.
