I freaking love From Now Until Infinity! The story just started where the story was left off in Falling Into Infinity.8 years has passed, Colin and Charlie are both grown up that has changed a lot since they broke up.Love is sweeter the second time around when they got back to each others life after spending a weekend in Los Angeles but this time they are matured enough to face the consequences and the challenges of their new relationship.I was so glad to know that despite the years that passed, Colin wasn't totally over from Charlie. I'm a goner for this kind of story that I kept smiling while reading. I love how Layne Harper develops a good character that was not far from reality. It's very convincing and as a reader I could really imagine this story is real. 8 years later, Charlie who now goes by her grown up name Caroline is a thriving doctor. She has a great assistant and is working with her father at his practice. But she is missing one thing in her life love. She has never met someone who intrigued her as much as her first love Colin. Then her father invites her as his date to drum up business for their practice to a retirement party for Clay South, an NFLer. Caroline knows that Colin will likely be at the party. The two first meet on the elevator at the before party and their connection that they had previously is instantly rekindled. Colin is no longer the same man. He is a big household name or rather a brand and the media are vultures. But the two fall back into old patterns learning that they cannot live without one another. But Caroline is in Houston and Colin in Dallas. They needed to learn to make it work - then all hell breaks lose with a media story - it puts Caroline at odds with her father and could jeopardize her career - one she was determined to get and previously walked away from Colin for. But the two are determined to try and find their happily ever after.

This book was a huge disappointment for me. I loved book 1 and couldn't wait to start this one. It lacked everything that made book 1 great. The same terms used over and over again. The couple is no longer one that I can root for. It became so syrupy sweet...gah. There was no reason for it to be so long, the over use of fluffy sex scenes left me skimming. He's chafing at this point and I was bored. Damn shame too. On paper, this book/series should have been perfect for me.
