I can't begin to explain the dullness, I felt with this book. It was a coming of age story that did not go anywhere. There was no redeeming quality.I can't abandon a book so I had no choice but to read it all the way through. By the end I felt as if the writer was trying to impart a desperate message about life and it's banality.
