I love this series. It keeps getting better with every book & they also can be read out of order or as stand alones they are that great. The way Danny narrates is so much better than the traditional way of third person confusion. The reality TV references like it was Jersey Shore was so great and with similar names--wow totally nailed it. This series reminds me of my childhood spent at the shore so thanks Danny for the memories. Ceepak is great like usual & seeing a HUMAN side to him with admitted mistakes was another good move. I really hope that this series continues!!!! This was a pleasant novel and the first I have read in Grabenstein's John Ceepak mystery series. I can see why it is popular. Ceepak is a likeable character...true blue ex Marine type, but the narrator, Ceepak's sidekick, is also likeable as a humorous (but not buffoonish) slacker type. In this installment, they continue their patrol of the Jersey shore babysitting an insane cast of reality show dumbheads (that really are buffoonish).
I really enjoy the way that Chris Grabenstein writes - an easy read with humor. Gotta love Ceepak!
