Gece Dünyası, No. 1: Gizli Vampir, Karanlığın Kızları, Büyülü Aşk (2011) - Plot & Excerpts
ohhhh l.j smith i do so love yoru work, but really? was it just me or did u want more for the storie's. like yes yes i know i know, their trying to find the " wild powers" but still, sometimes i just loved the little book that i wanted her to keep telling the storie, and not cut off and tell a different one. if u havent read the book careful cuz i will have major spoilers1st little book is called DADADASECRET VAMPIRE ..... ohhhhh how interesting,Poppy North the soo called normal teenage girl, is diagnosed with terminal pancreatic cancer, and then theirs Her best friend James Rasmussen, can u say yummmie!!!!! who is secretly a vampire ( dont tell poppy that, shes sooo inlove with him, little does she know that james isnt just a sexy vampire but her soulmate, james, who loves poppy rushes to find a cure, knowing that less than three percent of patients with pancreatic cancer survive. so James decides to turn Poppy into a vampire in order to save her life, and ofcorse be with her cuz he loves her so after he turns her, James's cousin, Ash, who is how can i say this like really terribly bad, but super hott abducts Poppy.... DA DA DAAAAAAAAAA evil little bastured he may be hot but seriously little douche i wanted to scoop his eyes balls out with a spoon -.-" Ash takes her to Las Vegas where they attend a party held by the Lord of the Night World so that Ash can turn her in, because their is laws against turning vampires (Poppy is an "illegal" vampire). James manages to save her in the nick of time, and it is revealed that Poppy has every right to know about the Night World because she is actually a "lost" witch, a witch unaware of her magical heritage. hmmm know that saved her ass, from being fried , so James and Poppy set out to find Poppy's father supposing he could help them.WOW DRAMA! Now for book two!!!Daughters of darkness, ohhh how creepy ;)Vampire sisters Rowan, Kestrel, and Jade Redfern escape from their homeland on an island in the Night World to live with their Aunt Opal on Burdock Farm, now these "sisters" are anything but special, the name REDFERN is all but royal in the night world, they were first vampires, and so u would exspect being high and mighty some would want a diffrent look on life. Things take a turn for the worse when the girls discover their aunt has been killed, and that their ruthless brother Ash has followed them to bring them home or kill them) ahhhhaahhhh here we see where the stories collide!. Meanwhile, the sisters and Ash meet the Carters next door, and Ash, who hates humans, now hate isnt a good world to descibe his feelings towards humans, i would say he has a distaste for the, he thinks thier piles of shit, nothing, worthless, only their for food. Ash see's that his sisters are "friendly" with the parisite known as Mary-Lynette Carter, a human, and too be with his luck his soulmate, HAHAAHAHA sucker. But he falls deeply in love with her, awwwwe!!!! k maybe he isnt all too bad. Although he is hesitant at first and they don't get along well, ahhh YEAH! NO SHIT, mary-lyn kicks him in the shins punches himand just beats him , hahaah i sooo love her!,yet still he cannot help his feelings and later proclaims his love for her. Jade one of the sisters is dating Mary-Lynnette's brother, Mark, her soulmate. In the end, Mary-Lynnette's friend, Jeremy, who turns out to be a werewolf, tries to kill Ash, Kestrel, Jade, and Rowan for hunting in his territory, and also tries to turn Mary-Lynette into a werewolf. With fire and a silver dagger/knife, Mary-Lynnette kills Jeremy, and Ash leaves to cover up the events. The sisters plan to stay at Burdock Farm while Mary-Lynnette waits for Ash's return after sending him away for a year so she can have some time to think about their love and whether she wants to turn into a vampire. the ending is one i will always remember, becuase mary loves the stars, ash, who she thought wouldnt even notice such a little thing, loves looking at the sky aswell, and as he leaves he says dont worry everytime u see the moon i will be looking at it aswell and i will be thinking of you. now LAST BUT NOT LEAST, i have to say this one for me was borring.... i didnt enjoy it as much, well in reality i kinda skipped it cuz i really didnt like it at allSPELLBINDERThea and Blaise Harman are witch cousins and are as close as sisters. There's only one slight difference: Thea uses white magic and Blaise uses black magic. Blaise uses her charm and magic to make boys do anything for her, including cutting themselves with razors and burning down schools. When the cousins start attending a new school and Thea heals Eric Ross from a snake bite, Thea and Eric realize they are soulmates. Blaise is jealous that Eric has chosen Thea and is worried that Thea is breaking Night World law to be with Eric. In a desperate attempt to protect Eric from Blaise, Thea accidentally releases an angry spirit that kills one of Blaise's admirers. Thea and Eric try their best to capture the angry spirit by luring it away from the school. But Thea is wanted by the Circle because she is not allowed to use that kind of magic, as are Blaise and Thea's friend Dani. Thea manages to tell them that Eric is in trouble because the angry spirit is with him. She manages to get to Eric before he is killed and puts the spirit back where it came from. The Circle tells her that she cannot love a human so she chooses to drink the Cup of Lethe, a drink that erases a part of your memory, to erase her and Eric's knowledge of the Night World. However, Blaise had switched the drink with iced tea, so neither forgets that the Night World exists.ye i really did not enjoy spell binder at all.... i couldnt get into it like the other ones, not too sure why, but for me i just couldnt picture it in my head This is a good book with a total of three stories included. These three stories are, in some factors, linked together. However, not by chronological order but by the relationship of the characters in the three stories. It talks of a treacherous and strict society of the Earth's darker species, known as the 'Night World', which includes shapeshifters, werewolves, vampires, witches, etc. I myself am very interested in vampire books and others that either talk about or include supernaturals. I like all three of the stories. However, I think the second story, 'Daughters of Darkness' because I felt that it came to a very abrupt end and was very forced. Overall, it is a good book. I would like to continue onto the second book.

The first story was my favourite, as the characters were very appealing. If the whole book had been about the first story then I would have definitely enjoyed this book ( If the plot had been as good as the first part of Night World). Unfortunately the other stories didn't appeal to me as much and I found that by the end, I was glad it was over and I could move onto a different book. It seems I've had a bad run with L J Smith books... None of them seem to appeal greatly to me like I thought they would.
