Well, edisi yang kubaca bukan yang ini. Tapi, edisi indonesia yang nempel di belakang novel The Power of Six.Tapi gapapa lah, yang penting ceritanya sama.Mulai dari mana ya,Oh ya, Aku boring abis waktu ngebaca awal paragraf "Katarina bilang ada lebih dari satu cara ..." udah ga ada semangat. Cuma ngebuka 102 halaman bolak balik ga dibaca-baca.Tapi, ketika gaada buku lain buat dibaca, boring sama bab "Awal Mula, novel Tiger's Curse" terpaksa aja jadi baca Six's Legacy.Nah, sampe halaman 2-102, gabisa stop ngebaca. Hanyut dalam cerita, tapi, ceritanya mirip sama yang Enam paparkan di The Power of Six / The Rise of Nine *lupa yang mana* cuma mendetail aja, perbedaannya ini dipaparkan dari sudut pandang orang pertama Enam. Dibaca dan tau-tau aja udah selesai. Ga nyangka aja bisa hanyut sampe halaman terakhir. Walaupun adegan menantangnya kurang panjang detail-detailnya, jadi kurang "deg-deg" waktu ngebaca, ga kayak waktu baca The Rise of Nine, buat deg-deg beneran. Dit korte verhaal is onderdeel van de serie Lorien Legacies en eigenlijk is dit het eerste wat je moet lezen als je de volgorde aanhoudt. Je valt echt middenin een verhaal en eerst zat ik ook echt van wtf, waar gaat het allemaal over. Maar stiekem is dat ook het leuke, dat je langzamerhand de wereld leert kennen en daarmee ook de hoofdpersonen. Qua spanning had ik ook niks te klagen, het verhaal is niet lang, maar loopt over van spanning en avontuur. Ik zit eigenlijk nog te twijfelen wanneer je dit verhaal nu het beste kunt lezen. Zes komt natuurlijk aan het eind van Ik ben nummer vier al in het verhaal voor en daardoor zit dit verhaal ervoor, maar ik denk dat het beter tot zijn recht komt na dat boek, namelijk voor De kracht van zes. Daarin komt zij veel vaker aan bod en is het achtergrondverhaal misschien beter tot zijn recht.Maar goed, het verhaal opzich is gewoon prima en die achtergrondinformatie over Zes is alleen maar leuk en interessant. Ik zag op Wiki dat er nog een aantal van dit verhalen uit worden gebracht, dus ik zeg laat maar komen.

well I really enjoyed knowing Six a little more before he got into Paradise. I knew nothing about why Six is so strong, calm, and fearless until I've read this. And it feels great to know her background starting with living with Katarina and training to be strong physically, mentally but not emotionally though and ending up with she lost her Cepan and started on her own, not mentioning her first Legacy arrived when she needed it most and that is to escape the cave of the mogadorians and start over by herself. And I really like her fierce looks and fearless attitude. Six is great!

I wasn't sure if I would enjoy these companion stories to The Lorien Legacies, but I was pleasantly surprised. The back story told in this book, allows us a window into how and why Six became the woman she is today. Giving us a glimpse of her past experiences, told as they happen instead of having her explain it in a page or two later, was eye opening. I can only hope the other stories are just as good as this one...though these authors have not disappointed me, yet so I expect they will be great, too.

Just as good as the rest of the series. I enjoyed hearing the firsthand story of Six.
