Received this book for free through Amazon - loved it! The characters are 3-D. You become comfortable with all of them right from the beginning of the book. It's a great story, with things going along pretty much as you would expect them to - in a pleasing way - then there's a twist you do not expect! Very well written. Warning - gets to a point where you don't want to put it down! Satisfying romance, any time of the year. I started reading this book a few months ago, but the first chapter wasn't hooking me, so I moved on to another book. But when I ran out of books to read I decided to give this one another try. I was surprised to find that I liked it a lot better than I thought I would. I thought the first couple of pages were full of a lot of back story, but the rest of the book was better paced and more interesting.
