Geçmişin Kanı (2013) - Plot & Excerpts

Ladies and Gentlemen, Please put your hands together for the one the only bad a$$ Heroine Eden!!!! (AND THE CROWD GOES WILD)!!!!!!!!!!!!! Eden: Comes into her own in this second book! She is kick a$$!!! I love all the emotional turmoil she has to work through to get to where she's going. She grows a lot and forgiveness is not as easy as some would think and Young makes it so real! I felt like I was going through the ringer with Eden the entire time. Never once saying I wish she would let it go, Hell she had a reason to be angry as hell! Noah: OMG Just WOW! He's lucky Eden didn't kill him, like every time she saw him lucky.Cyrus: I wish I had a dad like him!Darius: WTF Dark alley he comes along G-d help all the soul eaters!!!Val: all kinds of Awesome Sauce!OCTOBER: I swear she is one of the best written characters EVER!!!!!!!!! I love her and Eden's relationship from their first hellos!!! Super hilarious and comic relief for all the dark and twisty! 3.5 Stars. The concept of soul suckers is also better than the typical vampire stories. It makes it unique, but still holds the grungy yet enticing feel of vampire stories. The characters are all great; lovable, but there are also those who deserve to be hated. On a side note, I love Noah, but his possessiveness is starting to bother me. The revelation of the anti-cure is also interesting but not unexpected, after the non-subtle hints the author provided (sorry, but she made it kind of obvious after the whole Cyrus frown). I'm guessing now the rest of the family will be hunted down in the next book, seeing as the Tribunal (that's what they're called right?) now know about it. Like the first book in the series, I loved the story in its entirety, however, the book itself was too short for my liking. It felt like this was just one part of the book, rather than a book itself. I think that it's mainly because of the fact the not much happens (or at least anything big) until the end. I get the whole grand finale thing, but the lack of action and adrenaline throughout just made the ending a little anti-climatic. Despite this though, I did enjoy reading it and I guess I'll just have to read the third one right now, to make it seem like one whole book instead of three separate ones. I know, I'm a weirdo. ;)

What do You think about Geçmişin Kanı (2013)?

I love a fun, original paranormal book. This is a totally fun book. Noah is quite the warrior!!!
