The description sounded interesting but I wasn't quite sure what I was getting. It is fascinating. There are some significant underlying philosophical points (that you can think about or ignore) in the storyline.;Just opening with the question of how does one know that someone is a ghost is marvelous.I think the direction the story is going is not really a surprise, but that did not make any difference to my enjoyment of the story. Good story. I loved the premise, but it ended up reading more like a romance book than science fiction. It could have been so much better if the author had drug out the love story a bit. One second the protagonists are following the Ghost Protocol (where the ghost and human are not allowed to communicate at all), the next they are making out. I'd have liked that romantic suspense to simmer a lot longer, to see those walls of protocol and rules slowly torn down as respect builds throughout the story. But despite my complaints with the insta-lust elements of the story, I found it to be a creative and enjoyable read.
