I liked this book but I had issues with it as well. I kept waiting for something to happen between the h/h who actively disliked each other. It took over half the book for any sort of romance or for anything to really happen regarding the mystery they were trying to solve. I also felt that Declan's attitude towards Keira was unwarranted. I kept thinking I missed something because his continued animosity was way out of proportion to events. I just didn't feel the connection between them and the ending was rushed and didn't give any details. I did however, like the cliff hanger ending (and I figured out who the mystery man was too) so I'll definitely be reading Lily's story. Hopefully getting some of the mysteries solved in the process. I enjoyed the narrated audio version of The Year of Living Scandalously. I've contemplated buying the audio book for almost a year and delayed the purchase due to several unflattering reviews on Audible.com. I thought this was a pretty good book and the narration was great. Granted Justine Eyre, narrated, is British and cannot provide a perfect Irish accent, but no one can provided a perfect accent for another language or dialect. It's just not possible since it doesn't come naturally. I loved Kiera's spunk. She was a hellion and Declan knew very well how to handle her. I love Kiera's twin sisters too. They are their own little nightmare and I'd love to hear their story.I'd recommend this book and the whole series. I'll be listening again in the near future and I'm glad I bought the audiobook.
Loved this book! It was a wonderful read from beginning to end!
