Give Me Something was a surprise for sure! I got this as an Amazon freebie (yay!) and started a few days later (when I’d finished what I was reading at the time). It was different, it was frustrating, and it was sweet at times. I’ll tell you that Nick is a jerk, Lila is frustratingly blind to Nick; and Tucker? Swoon now. Just get that part over with. I’m not sure I care to read Nick’s story, but that writing style of Elizabeth Lee is the only reason I’m considering it. Well, that, and hope that maybe there’ll be an update on Tucker and Lila! This was such a refreshing change of pace - it's not your typical romance and I loved it in all of it's complexity. These characters are each flawed and yet very easy to relate to. My emotions were all over the place and one minute I was laughing and the next frustrated and wanting to smack the characters or throw my kindle. I love books that can pull emotions out of me and this author has that capability and her books are beautifully written. I'm looking forward to the next book in the series, but I have to say, I'm not sure how much I will like Nick's story - only time will tell. :)
