He excused himself from Molly and Zoey and stepped to the side as he placed it to his ear. “Cas,” he said and there was nothing on the other end for a moment. “Cas?” “August,” Cas said and August looked back at Zoey as she watched him. “What?” he said and Cas took a slow breath. “I am finalizing the party stuff today and Mother was supposed to shop with me, but she is busy,” he said. “Okay,” August said as he held his hand out. “I need you to help me.” “Oh Cas, why? Take Zane, he loves that shit.” Cas hesitated and then spoke again. “Zane is busy, I need your help. You have not done anything to help me and the party is this Saturday, I need to pick out the last bit of stuff for it and I need your fucking help!” Cas’s voice rose as he said it and August blinked and pulled the phone away from his ear and placed it back and narrowed his eyes.
