It comes as no surprise that I am huge KA fan, this woman is machine at writing hot alpha male and strong female characters.This book is about Tanner Mayne and Raquel 'Rocky' Merrick and their second chance love that is if Layne could figure out why Rocky left him so sudden the first time without any explanation or reason since their relationship was going great and they knew they were The One for each other. Layne has many obstacles besides Rocky's secrets and her past to overcome, something bad is happening in their town and it might drag them both down.Even though I love the book and the characters, I still didn't quite understand Rocky's reasons with why she left Layne. I was still left really confused therefore I could totally relate to Layne with the whole situation. Nevertheless it was an amazing, action packed book with lots of drama, sexy time and phenomenal writing.In the last couple of months in have devoured 17 KA books!!! That's how awesome she is, how amazing her series are and how incredible her writing style is. Golden Trail.Typical Kristen Ashley book.Nothing new and nothing boring.I liked what was done with each character and the story plot.I wouldn't say Layne and Rocky are my all time favourite protagonists but they were okay.They made a decent pair and I like what they looked and promised as together.I really really liked Tripp and Jasper. They both were the best part in the book for me.The plot was nothing new though I liked with what the author has taken up this time. It is a serious issue and I liked that she addressed it so.The rest..it's all Kristen Ashley way.

I want to say I was all about Layne and Rocky ... but for me ... this book was all about Tripp and Jasper. I fell for those boys ... good damn boys! Layne was amazing and he had his work cut out for him. Rocky ... oh poor poor Rocky ... loved her tho! Feisty Smart and Awesome ... it was like reading about me!! ahaha j/k!!! Another fantastic read by KA ... she is my all time fucking idol!!!
