I received the book for free through Goodreads First Reads. This was the first book in the series I have read. It reminded me of the Janet Evanovich Stephanie Plum series. The characters and the humor made the book enjoyable. Probably, if I had read some of the previous books I would have better understanding of some of the references, but that did not distract me from the story. This was a quick read, those it did meandered some and some parts of story seemed contrived, I will be going back to read the others prior books. Thank you for introducing me to a new series. I found this book interesting enough to keep reading but at the beginning felt a little lost until I was pulled in by the story. Sometimes this happens with long running series. Some of the characters are a little strange like her mother who lives in a former tool shed made into an apartment for her as she hates the main character's husband and Judith, the main character has a sister who would drive me nuts. Must run in the family...LOL! Judith and her husband run Hillside Manor, a B&B in Washington state, I think. When a young woman makes reservations, Judith finds out that her guest's mother was murdered in Judith's old neighborhood and the case is a cold one of 15 years prior. Ruby Tooms, her guest wants Judith to help her find out who murdered her mother.
What do You think about Gone With The Win (2013)?
So much fun to read the Bed and Breakfast mysteries. This one is full of laughs and mystery.

A bit of a mystery. I found it light reading but a bit confusing.

Much better than the last few where Renie got on my last nerve
