This was better than I expected from reading the book blurb. Probably many of us reach a time in our relationship when we stop really listening to the other person and take him/her for granted. This book is about 2 characters overcoming that situation. Toppy takes Frat boy for granted, and eventually realizes that Frat boy has the choice of leaving for someone who will appreciate him and treat him the way he needs to be treated. This is a continuation of Sebastian and Brad’s story nine months later. they have moved in together and things seem to be going well. Or so Sebastian feels. Brad still loves Sebastian but has seen a change in him and is beginning to doubt himself and what he means to Sebastian. It’s so sad to see because Brad is so sweet and kind. He can also be protective and is fiercely loyal. I love the scene of Brad baking cookies in the middle of the night. Sebastian realizes something is wrong from this right here. How precious is that. Anywho what we see is Sebastian being a douche without realizing it until Brad is baking cookies. How does it all come to a head? Well Brad’s frat house is semi destroyed and he has Collin come stay with them. there is a little history between Collin and Brad but no worries it isn’t a relationship history Sebastian gets a tad jealous and is rather rude. This upsets a already delicate Brad and the cookie baking scene soon comes about.A book on how when we talk out our fears we find we are stronger and our relationships become that as well. Shows us communication is needed in a loving relationship for it to last and that we muse listen and never take one for granted no matter how stressed we may be. A wonderful story showing love and faith as well.
I thought this was a good end to the series. Short but sweet.
