Graham Victor (Savannah's Romance) (2012) - Plot & Excerpts
Was good, but could of been better. One minute you were in the character Savannah's point of view and then it was like you were in the authors point of view and watching. You got some feelings here and there but you were missing a connection to the characters. There was a blank feeling toward the male character graham. Something didn't allow you to fully engage with the characters. Planing on reading the next one to see if it improves. This one kind of gets slammed in the review area...not sure why. It does have a quick start. But I like quick starts, who wouldn't like a bit of action a couple of pages in, instead of 100 pages in. The D/s stuff seemed fairly real to me, I could feel the power of Graham. Loved how he made those decisions!! Wouldn't want him to change. Yes, Savannah was quick to jump for him, but lets face it ladies and gents..it's a book! That's right, fiction. I would certainly like to think that ladies in the real world were taught to think before they jump like her. People some books were written to take you on a journey of dice rolling, this would be one, but don't think for a moment I would have rolled the dice...I wouldn't have. I would however like to take a second to thank my husband for managing me in ways that make me blush and continue to keep me on my toes :-)
