I liked this book a lot more than I thought I would. I’ve never read a M/M book before but I won this one in a giveaway so I thought I’d give it a try. It was awesome!! Liev and Chris are HOT together, and their love story is incredibly powerful. I also think that this is the funniest of the Hearts of Fame books so far (I know right) Chris is a total cut-up and Bethany (Chris’ PA) has some great one liners. The chemistry between the characters in this book is extraordinary all the way around. I loved Bethany and how she interacted with both Leiv and Chris and how she helped them along. I would love to see her get her own story. I think her character would be fun to revisit (plus then we’d get to check in on the guys right?) The love scenes are hot. I enjoyed them far more than I thought I would (hey I usually read erotic books to put myself in the heroine’s place, hard to do when there is no heroine) they are very well written and like I said HOT. If you’ve never read a M/M story before and want to give one a try may I humbly recommend this one, you might find you like it as much as I did. Third book in the series and it was about Chris (Rowan's brother) and Liev, his new bodyguard. We meet both of them in the previous book and I never saw this coming..ok we'll, outside the preview and book excerpts!! It was a coming out story that was so freaking hot, my kindle shut itself off from too much heat!! But that's Lexxie Couper, she takes intimacy the next erotic level of off the charts. The fact that it was 2 men made absolutely no difference - there was passion, anticipation, and flat out hot as heck action.Chris is just a sweet guy - a hot sweet guy- and Liev is not sweet...at all...he's the opposite in a very good way.. in a big Huge muscled Aussie bodyguard with an 6 or 8 pack?(who cares after 6 really?!) kind of way. They have an instant attraction but refuse to acknowledge it until Chris' PA gets involved..this was a weird intervention - I'm sure other methods would have been as effective, but why the hell not go for it? Still, It was the part of the book that took away a star because it was a bit ridiculous...oh and Chris and Liev fall in love in 7 days...a few days more than Rowan and Aslin!I loved Chris's path to accept himself and his unapologetic way of dealing with his feelings - the world would be better if it could always be so easy...and not to diminish his angst, but 3 weeks in total to come out, accept it and get people over it is a dream for lots...but at least it's something to strive for and should be applauded for supporting the cause.
