Thought all of it was a bit ridiculous. She goes in for a maid job but accidentally becomes contracted to be a rock star's pretend girlfriend to Carter--to "help become a better person."Kent is Carter's brother and while all of this happening, her and Kent are having sex obviously. The whole pretend girlfriend wasn't needed at least I don't think. Idk I dnfed almost more than half way in. The beginning was meh...after that it got worse. Then, the story picked up and I was really happy with the overall story line. It was as non cliche as it could be. That was the only reason I added another star. Otherwise it was a regular nice and happy romance. There were not many bumps, not serious ones. There was a lot of effort on the authors part to create real issues but they all came across as not so huge problems. No life or death situations, no angsty tantrums from Carton, whom Rebekah was supposed to handle. I expected some douche moves from the rockstars, but only the antagonist got to act like a douche. I don't know how I feel about that..Hmm. I still liked everyone and I will totally pick up the next book in the series.
I LOVE THIS SERIES! Carter is so amazing and Kent is just... there are no words. I love this book
