That moment when you figure out that Celaena has more names than Jace has...I'm not quite sure about this book. I'm originally giving it a 4 out of 5, however I feel like it's more of a 3-3.5. This book deserves bonus points for the cover, it is GORGEOUS! The first half of this book was kind of slow. I really enjoyed the parts with Celaena in them, however the parts with Dorrian and Chaol were a bit boring. I absolutely hated the parts with the new pov. I basically skimmed all of them. I know nothing about her, and I was really confused when I read it. That was the worst part of the book. However, I think that this is just a bridge into the 4th throne of glass book. Can we talk about Rowan? He is perfect!!! He made my heart melt and he basically made this book worth the read. The second half of the book was way better than the first half and a lot of stuff happened. I am still in complete shock. The ending was pretty good, but I don't think it was an insane cliff hanger. With all of that put aside, I still totally recommend this series!!!! Throne of Glass was a good first book; Crown of Midnight was a good sequel. Heir of Fire? I'd have to say was great. Reading all three back-to-back made the beginning of Heir of Fire a lot harder to digest, but only because I was ready for action and instead was met with emotion. That same emotion, however, was written extremely well and kept my interest hoping the characters would have a break just once. Coupled with the introduction of earlier mentioned characters and telling of earlier hinted at history, and I'm hooked. I'm now stuck waiting for a year for the fourth in book in the series and wishing I hadn't added yet another title to my must-read-now list. I'd recommend this series in a heartbeat.
What do You think about Heir Of Fire (2014)?
Love this series, can't wait for the next book!
