It wouldn’t matter.” It was true. He had wondered. He had worried that he wouldn’t go to this much trouble if he knew for sure, but right in that moment he knew. “That takes balls. Raising a kid that ain’t yours.” He nodded. “I don’t think it could be any more rewarding though. Blood matters, but sometimes we make choices that matter too. This life is too hard for Storm.
