This first volume starts off slowly, but you will definitely fall in love with the series. I've been looking for a completed, good shoujo manga for the longest time since finishing hana yori dango (boys over flowers) a while ago. This series DOESN'T DISAPPOINT!! I was left thinking over the entire story again and again. I've been telling all of my friends about the story line because I feel like it's been one of the most epic love stories I've ever read about/heard. It makes me nostalgic for high school love. It made me cry and laugh and I simply can't get it out of my head, I keep thinking back to all of the happy and sad scenes. I was just flying through pages wanting to see what would happen next. And at the end of it all I just wanted to lie in bed and hug my boyfriend for hours.I highly recommend this to anyone who wants to read a more mature (eventually, their love grows and the themes become more serious) shoujo manga with an amazing love. While this series is off to a good start, I didn't particularly enjoy the characters. The main guy, Yano, is a dick. Really. He doesn't seem to respect the protagonist Nana and that makes it hard for me to cheer their pairing. I know it is supposed to be because he is all messed up from his ex girlfriend who died. I can see why some people might like this, especially because the pace moves pretty quickly and Nana is very likable. But I kept wanting her to find someone who wasn't a hot mess on toast. I wont be getting volume 2.
