4 'Love Layla and Landon' stars.I have loved Layla and Landon through this series and in this novella things took an unexpected turn, Landon finding himself struggling with his past and needing to find the courage to face it head on, not just for himself but for Layla as well.I felt for Landon, although it wasn't pleasant seeing the way he ended up treating Layla and it was good to see him feel the fear and do it anyway!Loved Layla's faithfulness and loyalty to Landon, but also loved that she made the stand necessary because she loved him enough to do that.Awesome easy to read series."Love isn't measured in chances, Landen. When you love someone, there isn't a limit. As long as you keep trying, I will keep loving you. I don't know if I could stop." - Layla I didn't expect to read such a wonderfully emotional book. I thought that this installment would just be filled with fluff considering that the first book provided enough angst to scare off a reader. But I was wrong. It's so much more. Yes— it had a lot of drama, contained a lot of anger and tears and misunderstandings— but it was all worth it in the end because after all the hardships, reading about how they overcame the obstacles and finally living a life of bliss, just made it lot sweeter. It's really true, you appreciate little things more when you were deprived of it before. Love this! Landen and Layla, sigh, I just love them. And Hope too.
