Holy Night: An Aloha Reef Christmas Novella (2013) - Plot & Excerpts

This Novella was really entertaining! This is yet another glimpse of a series that I REALLY WANT TO READ NOW!!! LOL! Just a taste of all of these great characters has left me wanting to read the series and discover more and more about them! Colleen comes up with the most unique and lovable characters. I did feel a little frustrated at times, but that was just because I was rooting for this couple so hard and circumstance kept popping up and pushing them apart! This could have been a whole novel instead of just a novella and I would have eaten it up though with the suspense in some scenes I was happy it was resolved in just few chapters! :D Happy endings, fabulous scenes, and a love that goes deep is what you'll find in Holy Night and much, much more!Songs: "O Holy Night (Album Version)" sung by Celine Dion, "O Little Town Of Bethlehem" by Stones River Ranch Boys, "Silent Night" by Stones River Ranch Boys, and "Ukulele Bridal Chorus" by Josh Kekoa Cho Although I am not familiar with the characters nor this series, this was a much more enjoyable read than the author's other Christmas book out this year. This book had a bit of mystery, excitement, and some expected romance. I enjoyed those portions of the book including the autistic girl featured in the book. I always appreciate it when author's tackle special needs issues and demonstrate that these people can be fully functioning citizens. I was confused about how the two main characters interacted concerning the kidnapping. That did not seem to flow as well, and the happy ending truly seemed to be a strain on reality, but this is a romance after all. I would have appreciated some more Christian references within the book. I never understand why the characters don't seek God more, but maybe that is just a reflection of the way normal life is. There is nothing inappropriate in this book, and though not as good as expected, it is nice for a quick Christmas read.I was sent a copy of this book in exchange for my honest review. I was not financially compensated, and all opinions are 100 percent mine.

What do You think about Holy Night: An Aloha Reef Christmas Novella (2013)?

Didn't really enjoy it. Too short and I thought the sorry was rushing and boring.
