As the author, of course I love this story. And as an HGTV enthusiest I just couldn't help but write a novella about a DIY show. But if you're a fan of romance novels starring heroines that resemble Disney princesses--you know the type; pretty but doesn't know it, kind to both friend and foe, naive to a fault, blah, blah, and blah--then you might be in for a shock. Olivia is pretty, ambitious and not about to let anything, not even love, get between her and her dreams of stardom. Well, maybe love. Enjoy =D Olivia has a dream of becoming a famous actress. After years of working minimum-wage jobs and second rate commercials she has finally had her big break. It seems almost too good to be true that she has landed the part of co-host for a reality TV show "Home Matters" alongside TV heart throb William Blaine. Her life suddenly changes to a whirlwind of activity working on the show and developing a relationship with William. Olivia finds herself a bit disillusioned as she realizes her role on the new show isn't quite what it's cracked up to be and while William Blaine is drop-dead gorgeous, he drinks and smokes too much and leaves something to be desired. This, combined with her confusing attraction to the lead contractor on the show, Pete.I thoroughly enjoyed reading "Home Matters". It's a delightfully fun and light-hearted read. For a novella the main characters are surprisingly well developed and the plot is solid, though somewhat predictable. If you need a quick read that will bring a smile to your face and warmth to your heart, "Home Matters" will not disappoint.FYI - this is a clean read no swearing or intimate situationsSource - blog tour for review
What do You think about Home Matters (2014)?
Good read, nice little twist that was a little predictable but still a fun fast read.

Cute book. I didn't like how fast the relationship moved. But pretty cute
