Another awesome book! Once I started it, I couldn't put it down. If you like Maya Bank's KGI series you will love Tonya's Hornet books! All I can say, is buy both books, read them -- you won't be sorry. These guys are great -- funny, sexy, smart and dedicated. Tonya does a fantastic job pulling you in right off the get-go. I had been on an unintentional reading hiatus for two months. I just couldn't pick up a book so I thought I would give Honor Reclaimed a try, boy am I glad I did. I was hooked before finishing the first chapter and am happy to say I have now read three books since then. Just the kick in the pants I needed. We all need a little excitement, laughter and fun in our reading and the Hornet series provides that. Oorah!! The lives of a determined photojournalist, an ex-Marine suffering from PTSD, and an Afghani runaway child-wife weave together in this gripping, heart-rending, and at times infuriating story. I loved every minute. When Seth and Phoebe meet, he is on a black-ops mission to Afghanistan. He suffers from PTSD, and few on his squad believe him capable of doing anything more than endangering the team, but Phoebe sees something different, and through her, Seth begins to see things differently, as well.The story is solidly written, the characters well-drawn and likable, and the hard issues Tonya Burrows covers are done with a very deft hand. Very Well Done.
