I normally like books that give me the inner thoughts of the two leads but the way the author wrote this story left me wondering who was talking several times, which took me out of the book. The way she not only says the inner thoughts of the leads but EVERY character felt a bit much. Especially when it was all within the same chapters not separated. I liked the main storyline but felt it got mixed up with a lot of unnecessary drama. I'd read a book by this author again because she's great at creating characters but I'd do so very hesitantly. This book just wasn't for me. I read it hoping for something cute and Austen-y and was disappointed. My own fault for picking it, though, and not the authors.Looking for a sexy good time with little care for historical accuracy and quite a lot of breasts popping out? Grab a hold of this book becuase you'll love it.Kind of a detail freak who wants everything to reflect the way an era was and not one to accept anything outside of those lines?Run now, this ain't for you.It will all come down to your personality. This book wasn't for me, but that doesn't make it a bad book.
I rally enjoyed this book. The characters were loveable and I really enjoyed the plot development.
