The perfect book to inspire confidence, motivation, self-worth. A boy ponders what he wants to do when he grows up and decides that he can be mixing-bowl licker, a tin-can kicker, snowball smoother, etc. The boy can do anything he wants to and decides to do them all! This book would be fun to do with any grade. After reading the story, students could illustrate what they can do, and it can be anything! When he was little, my son, Ryan, didn't know what he wanted to be when he grew up. All of his brothers had ideas: pro football player, fireman, computer/video game designer, origami artist, etc. Ryan had no clue. That is, until we went to see the fireworks at the high school. He got a huge grin on his face and said, "I finally know what I want to be when I grow up. Could I light the fireworks?"This book would have been perfect for him. "Tin can kicker," "mixing bowl licker," "paper plan folder," "puppy dog holder." There are so many possibilities! Darling book.
