I Hate You...I Think (2000) - Plot & Excerpts

Right from page one I was sucked in, I liked Oliver from page one he's that bada** bad boy you can't help but love, "it's not illegal, it's unethical, and like I said before if no one knows there isn't a problem." Oliver might be a tad bit protective of Everlyn, "you're right he is a freak. I don't want him near you." Everlyn, good grief that girl kills me, "yeah, you're my hot professor, who is bi-polar and likes to fist fight people. With a psychopath from a rival gang who wants to beat your face in and you won't let me know why you decided to drag me into your problems. Oh and you're an evil little monster. Yeah, your right not normal at all." Oliver is such a cocky a** at times, "as much as I enjoy standing here having you check me out we should be going. So close your mouth and go get dressed." Didn't like the ending freakin' cliffhanger why are there always cliffhangers with books now and days! But I can't wait for the next installment. The story is very interesting; it has suspense and romance (my favorite). However, the story also is not very much like reality. I have never remembered that men in gangs are well-mannered or kind to others and such. I'm not trying to stereo-type, but let's be real.A lot of people may oversee all of the MANY error and mistakes the book has, however I cannot. Every time I came across an error in the book, I would stop and think how dumb it is that the author thought this book was ready to be published. I would be ashamed of this book because of all of the errors. It's also about $8! It only took my about two sittings to read this book AND I cannot believe I payed to read mistakes!Another thing that aggravated me was the ending... If there is a sequel to this book, I hope somebody tells me. Cliffhangers are fun to end in book SERIES. Why would you end a one-book without the feeling of closure? The author had the readings very confused at the end!I loved the story and plot. I hated the price, ending and the mistakes. If anybody is thinking about reading this book, do yourself a favor and wait until the price drops.
