A wonderful story of the past, present and future and how they ultimately shape our lives. Anyone who has read I Love You to Death, fell in love with Luke. This book only solidifies that he is the perfect man, despite his flawed past. Natalie Ward does an amazing job writing the past/present POV and the re-telling of Luke's life before and after Ash. All of it comes together beautifully with the inclusion of the song lyrics to begin each chapter. The dialogue is realistic and the story relatable, making it easy to fall in love with Luke and Ash all over again. I've loved every book in the I Love You series and this one is no exception. It's simply perfect. Luke and Ash together is so sweet my teeth hurt not from this literary sugariness but from me clenching my teeth from squealing and gushing. People aren't perfect and facing the past to move onto the future isn't an easy thing, but I was really proud of how this couple handled it. Still swooning from all the sweet words Luke says about Ash and the ending just depressed me because I want more. Ugh.
Of course it is already added to my favorites shelf...it's Luke, it's gotta be good...
