This is the cutest book! What an original concept, while still incorporating typical fantasy elements (ghosts, etc.). There are a couple of scenes that stretched my suspension of belief too far, though, and that's hard to do -- I like wacky comedy, so my belief can be suspended pretty far. But the whole rhino-horn thing didn't seem like the best plot McGuffin. Then again, Summy made it work, so maybe it's just me. I *can* be a bit picky sometimes. Give it a read if you like YA goofiness. It will lift your spirits! hee The trouble that Sherry had in this book is what tipically a middle-schooler faced in real life. I like how the author writes about an oridinary girl who faces unordinary things happening around her and not just a hero who borns with destiny. And I like the story of how Sherry's mom becomes a ghost and asks her daughter for help. Although I don't really like the fact that the author plug in random (no offence, just how I personally feels) romance scenes through out the books. But overall, I think it is a good book to kill time in the summer.
What do You think about I So Don't Do Mysteries (2008)?
I'm sorry, but this one was kind of not to my liking.
