The synopsis pretty much says it all. Fiona is heartbroken and damaged from her father leaving and her long time boyfriend dumping her on the same day. She has sworn off guys and never wants anything to do with them ever again. Cooper is dealing with his mothers death, moving to a new town, and creating a fresh start for himself. In a way they find each other when they both really need it.Cooper has the image of a bad ass… he has a lot of tattoos, rides a bike, and keeps to himself but he is just total good guy with a tough exterior. The instant he crashes into Fiona he wants to get to know the girl with sad eyes and make her smile. It becomes his mission. Fiona is resistant at first, she has been majorly damaged and she wont let herself be loved by such a great guy like Cooper which really frustrated me but I guess she has to work out her demons and move at her own pace. I was totally not expecting the ending. The whole book moved at a leisurely pace and then BAM the ending is a total whirlwind of events that leaves you hanging by the edge of your seat and you cant finish it fast enough! The book deals with family sorrow & loss, true love, heartbreak, discovering what you deserve, and finding your happily ever after. It was an enjoyable read even though Fiona and Cooper frustrated me and at times I was yelling at them asking them “why are you doing that?!” LOL If you enjoy a book with lots of drama, a suspenseful ending, and a happily ever after….this book is for you! I'm still trying to figure out if I liked this book or not. It was insane!!! It started out like a sweet teenage story of boy meets girl, boy chases girl, they become friends, then BAM!! all the crazy sh!t starts happening. It had so many twists and turns that were just unbelievable that I just started laughing and screaming at my kindle "You have to be f*@cking kidding me." There was just so much crammed into this book and the main characters were teenagers in High School. If it had been adults then I probably could've believed some the outrageous sh!t that happened. And to top it all off, there was dual POVs....okay cool until you're reading the exact same conversation twice and very little actual POV. If you want something completely ridiculous to read then this is your book.
What do You think about I Won't Give Up (2000)?
I finished the book, but just barely. Just skimmed over the last few chapters.

It sounded like a great book, but the plot was just too unbelievable.
