I'll Be Your Drill, Soldier (2009) - Plot & Excerpts

There are few books that move me as much as this one did, not because it was about the army, I am not American and does not mean the same to me.What moved me about this story was the friendship, the fact that they were brothers born of a war and remained so long after. Then the relationship between Ryan and Phillip, well what can a person say about that other than WOW, it's moving in ways I never thought I would see or understand. I truly loved this book and if I can get other's like it I would love to read it. So absolutely amazing!!! but I won't go Into that because everyone Knows they Should read this book. Also i should add there is not one thing about this book I didn't like.So a few things I'll mention in there are only two sex scenes, one scorching hot kiss and some wonderful dirty emails, but man these scenes were hotter than anything and definitely made better because of the build up.The story starts out as four boys going through basic training, and the focus is really about them growing up and their friendship, also the growing crush ryan has on Phillip. I loved this start up because it got you invested in all the four boys lives and you loved them all equally. Usually I just want to skip to the romance and avoid the side characters, but not in this book. I LOVE THEM ALL!!! Ryan and Phillips story was sweet, sexy and funny. Oh yes this book is funny as hell. The ending had me crying, in a good way. But I just didn't want it to end! The POV does change a bit but the transition is fairly smooth and I didn't get to lost.I just loved it.

What do You think about I'll Be Your Drill, Soldier (2009)?

This was just okay, but I added an extra star for the belly laugh I got from the reply-to-all email.
