So disappointing. Harlow is the 23 yr old daughter of a crime syndicate boss, who is dying. She's been in love with family friend Beau Diesel forever, but every time they hook up, he tells her they can't be together. There's a convoluted story in there somewhere. I'm still not sure why she loves him, how she tolerates any of his lies or how I even managed to finish this book. I could not get into either of the characters, there were a number of loose ends that were never tied and the epilogue told in the perspective of her dead father comes out of left field. Ridiculous. This was SUPER hot....with the sex...but other than that, it was just kind of ridiculous how perfect everyone was...especially our heroine.Anyway, so it's nothing you haven't read before...and nothing you won't read again in the future, so , sure, I would recommend this book. Beau (our hero) is OTT possessive, even if it takes him years to pull his head outta his ass. It's easy to read, pretty short (to me) and to the point. Can't argue with those I guess.
