I would have to say this was one of the worst BDSM books I've ever read! I do believe the author could have done more research on the D/S roles because I wasn't convinced the main male character (Conner) was an Experience Dom he had more of a temper than anything and let's not even talk about sex scenes which mostly consisted of him receiving a BJ every time (and I do mean every time ) these two were together with a down play of everything else. This is my first book by this author not to sure I will read anything else. Conner Raub is a Dom. But he doesn’t just want to play, he wants to live a BDSM lifestyle 24/7 – except his itinerant life as rodeo rider doesn’t make that possible. So he believes. So when he meets Jessica Talbot, a sweet submissive who works for the rodeo, he’s convinced a relationship won’t work except as a transitory thing. Can Jessica convince him otherwise? If you enjoy the BDSM genre, this novel is a sure-pleaser. What I particularly liked about Impact was the depth that author Cassandra Carr put into the characters and the rodeo setting. From the very beginning when Conner intervenes when a scene goes awry, you know he’s a good guy. Though at times I found his language a little too crude for my personal tastes, he still came across as likable, sympathetic character I wanted to root for. Jessica is submissive, but not wimpy, and the secondary characters support the story nicely. It was a pleasant change to see a BDSM romance set in a different venue (although the opening scene takes place in a club).
What do You think about Impact (2012)?
The BDSM part was good but connection between h/h at other times was missing something.

LOL. Couldn't sleep, wanted something smutty and light. Be careful what you ask for.

good spicy book, not too heavy on the bdsm which is the way I prefer it.
