Well as soon as I started reading this I started rolling my eyes because I could see Christian and Ana all over again from Fifty Shades, but then R.K. Lilley surprised me with all these twists. I really started to enjoy what Bianca brought to the story because it really was mostly about her and her younger years. But James' character was not left behind and also brought intrigue into how their relationship would be. Just when I was getting attached to both characters, Lilley goes and ends book 1. Way to pique my interest and leave this anxiousness for book 2 in me! Along the lines of Fifty Shades, billionaire alpha make and virgin flight attendant. I totally enjoyed the fact the the female lead while a virgin isn't naive about relationships and doesn't preciously save her virginity, she is happy to give it up but not presumptuous that the relationship she jumps into is true love from the start. Refreshing to see the male lead more head over heels in the book than the female from the start, and watch him battle with his possessiveness while she is cool towards him.
Stephan is the only character I liked here. Cavendish was creepy... not dreamy.. :\
