This was a great short read. It made me smile in the end although I wasn't sure it would during the reading. I liked that the characters were already established as friends and work partners when they were introduced, it did away with that sense of insta-love that always makes me a little uncomfortable. We got a great slice of them as a couple and what was driving them apart. The end left me sighing in happiness! Freaking Lanyon...You think because you give this short out for free you can just jerk me around like this...AGAIN?!Oh the potential. But nope, you wrote it probably in a couple hours. And I devoured it, in less than 30 minutes. And alas, I'm left just wishing for the day that this book about Rick and Kier would be full-length and I could get to the end and smile. That day will never come. You tease. If you want an afternoon quickie to sneak in while at work, this one would serve that purpose. On a side note: I want to go to Ireland.
Short and sweet. Really wish this was a longer, more drawn out story.
